BIG Winners In Valier

It reminds me of my old Fishing Hole days...Saturday's ice fishing derby down on Lake Francis, saw a record number of anglers for this kid-friendly event. In fact, they turned out in droves with some 477 registered participants UP from 137 in '22. How "kid-friendly?" Total cash payout was close to $10,000, with $100 each for the biggest kids' pike & perch. The LARGEST overall pike & perch took $2,335, with $1,401 for 2nd place & $934 for 3rd.
