Getting the nod among five nominations who were all impressive Conrad senior quarterback finished the night with 176 yards on the ground with one touchdown and a 23 yard pass to Austin Padilla. Bert Paulson was key in a Cowboy victory over a very young Choteau team.

Other male nominees this week include CJI running back Brett Henke 30-155, four touchdowns and 15 tackles; Isaac Ramos of Valier 17-137, one touchdown, seven solo tackles and Michael Buckley of Sunburst with five touches, five touchdowns (four rushing and one reception) and combined 240 yards.

Brittany has been strong all season long as a setter and a hitter. Averaging eleven kills per match and setting a Coyote school record for kills in a single season with almost half of the season ahead of her. In wins over Conrad and Rocky Boy, Brittany had seven aces and five kills in the Rocky Boy match. Head coach Ron Buck noted that of the 21 team kills, she had a hand in 20 of them. She’s been very good with the quick set to middle hitters who can knock down the kill before the defense knows what’s coming. She also had eight kills and 16 assists in the Conrad match.
