Here at TheFW, we have a special talent for scoping out all things adorable. You know, like moths and little Darth Vaders. It's the sort of stuff that just brightens the heck out of our days. Today we'd like to share with you another find that fits this bill-- cute porcupines.

Last week we introduced you to the phenomenon that is hedgehog GIFs. It’s a simple yet totally effective concept when it comes to cheering up. But have you yet discovered the power of the penguin? These tiny nuggets of adorable are equally fantastic day brighteners, simply because penguins are funny and cute in any given circumstance.

It all started with Zeddie Little, who remained ridiculously photogenic while running a marathon. Since then we've met the ridiculously photogenic surgery girl, the ridiculously photogenic jui jitsu guy and a host of others who have maintained their photo-ready best in less than ideal circumstance.

We already know horses are prone to some pretty funny stuff, like Skrillex hair and semi embarrassing Halloween costumes. As our luck would have it, this is only one part of their entertaining shenanigans.

There's only one thing that can erase all the hours of listening to people complain about how much they hate Valentine's Day. Can you guess what it is? It's looking at animals holding valentines! Let these pictures remind what this holiday is really all about -- putting your pet's head through a heart-shaped piece of posterboard. And hedgehogs. And otters. Happy Valentine's Day!

Is it just us, or are kids developing 'tudes younger and younger these days? Their sass factors have skyrocketed in recent years, although we're not entirely sure why. Take those evil glaring munchkins, for example. All we have to say is yikes.
