NO FUN ALLOWED IN THE BIG APPLE

That's the impression I get from talking with the Gabby Cabby, New York City cab driver and longtime pal of mine, Peter Franklin. The Gabman will be joining me this afternoon (Thursday) at 4:35 right after Puffman Musical Trivia. The driver of the big yellow taxi has a true tale about four people arrested for eating doughnuts in a playground. I also found out that it's against the law for New York City residents to remove, kill, or damage a street or park tree. Two New Yorkers got nabbed for chopping down a ginkgo tree with an axe! They were apparently trying to steal a bike.

It’s All About Agriculture

Probably here in the Golden Triangle, we pay rapt attention to agriculture because it is our lifeline, and really. our country's lifeline. Agriculture is what the Golden Triangle is all about. WHERE’S THE FIRE

It was at Mann Gulch outside Helena back in 1949 and that's the book I'm reading to the residents at the Marias Heritage Center tonight at 6 o'clock. Mark Matthews (a writer from Missoula) has published the tome "A Great Day To Fight Fire Mann Gulch, 1949" and this book is more than a page turner, it's a barn burner
