Choteau CHS is Doing Their Part to Fight Hunger

Hunger is a reality for one in six Americans according to Ross Thayer. Thayer is general manager CHS  in Choteau and this year was the very first  CHS  Harvest for Hunger cash and food drive.  CHS accepted contributions earlier this month at it's Choteau location and is now ready to deliver them to Feeding America's network of food banks.

Man Walks Into Starbucks, Throws Money in the Air [VIDEO]

Local Starbucks customers in Boston got the surprise of their life on St. Patrick's Day, when an unidentified man walked into the famous coffee hot spot and reportedly threw a huge chunk of money in the air.

"A gentleman walked in and yelled three times, 'I'm rich, I'm rich, I'm rich!' ... and threw a bunch of money," said customer Tara Mardigan, who witnessed the scene. "Everybody was just stunned."

"UNDATED (AP) - Scammers already are trying to take advantage of the outpouring of compassion  following Japan's earthquake and tsunami disaster. Let it be a warning for the charity-minded to be on the lookout for phony aid appeals. FBI spokeswoman Jenny Shearer says one fraudulent scheme involves an e-mail claiming to be from the British Red Cross and seeks donations via wire transfers. Legitimate charities don't make requests for wire transfers. There are a number of online resources to check out charities.
