Thomas Rhett and His Family Become Not-So-Scary Monsters for Halloween
Thomas Rhett celebrated Halloween with his family in the cutest way possible, by dressing up as monsters for the holiday. The family of four assumed the role of characters from the popular animated film Monsters, Inc., and they were a little more huggable than scary.
"We literally took a million photos. Getting Willa and Ada to smile at the same time was impossible but it was awesome! Monsters, Inc. for life," Rhett says in sharing the adorable Halloween photo on Instagram.

The Akins' are all smiles in the capture, despite the trouble they had to get there. The country star and his wife, Lauren, are holding their two girls in the shot. Lauren — dressed as Celia Mae, Mike Wazowki's girlfriend — is actually holding Ada, who is dressed as Mike. Rhett took on the part of Sully, the big blue gentle giant, and also the responsibility of holding the couple's toddler, Willa, who is dressed as 2-year-old Boo.
Rhett's a fan of dressing up, it seems. Days before Halloween, the star and fellow singer Brett Young were in the Halloween spirit, rocking a set of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle onesies at a weekend show in California. Danielle Bradbery was also on the bill and went all out onstage, too — she and her band concocted their best Stranger Things interpretation.
More fun Halloween costumes this year: Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman as a red ninja and Catwoman, RaeLynn as pregnant Kylie Jenner, Kelsea Ballerini and Morgan Evans as kangaroos and Jason Aldean's family as Star Wars icons.
