Maggie Nutter and Trina Bradley, from the Marias River Livestock Association were in our studios today and talked to Mark Daniels about grizzly bears in our area.

Grizzly bears are becoming a serious concern for local stock growers and other residents of our area. They say there are simply too many of them and they are spreading into areas where they really don’t belong.

There will be a meeting with Fish Wildlife and Parks to help with ideas for humans to live in proximity with the bears and a question and answer session about the current bear situation. The meeting will be held next Tuesday May 24th in Valier at the High School Auditorium at 7pm
