Big Sky Resort has been chosen to host TransWorld SNOW/boarding's TransAM snowboarding amateur competition tomorrow (Saturday) after a venue change due to lack of snow in the Mt. Seymour, British Columbia region. Event coordinators contacted Big Sky Resort for this event due to their consistent snow coverage & multiple on mountain locations to build the terrain park competition. Terrain Park Manager for Big Sky Resort, Adam West (NOT the one from Batman) boasts, "The crew & I are "stoked" to have the opportunity to give this classic event our own local twist." Christian Thomas, Senior Events Manager, from TransWorld SNOWboarding appears equally "stoked." Thomas says, "Although it's unfortunate Mother Nature had us pull the plug on the Mt. Seymour stop, we couldn't be happier with the replacement at Big Sky in Montana. A progressive resort like Big Sky is an absolutely perfect match for the TransWorld SNOWboarding TransAM." Mother nature may tend to be crabby at times but I'm STOKED too...I'm the Puffman. See you tomorrow at Big Sky for the snowboarding amateur competition.
