‘Today’ Celebrates 60th Anniversary By Reuniting Former Anchors [VIDEO]

Today Show Anchor Reunion
NBC

Long-running morning show mainstay ‘Today’ marked its 60th anniversary this morning. It’s not often that a show celebrates six decades on the air and ‘Today’ did it in style by bringing all living former anchors together with the current crew in Studio 1A in Rockefeller Plaza.

Hugh Downs, Barbara Walters, Jim Hartz, Tom Brokaw, Jane Pauley, Bryant Gumbel, Willard Scott, Deborah Norville, Katie Couric and Meredith Vieira were all on hand to share their experiences on the venerable program.

Watch a video below as ‘Today’ anchors past and present discuss what it’s like to work on the television institution.
