Horseback riding on the Rocky Mountain Front is just one of the adventures to be featured this Sunday morning on Northwestern Outdoors Radio.
Host John Kruse interviewed a bevy of guests at the big Pacific Northwest Sportsmen's Show in Portland, Oregon last week!  On the fishing front Ted Teufel with ProFishGuide.com talks salmon and steelhead fishing near Tillamook on the North Coast and guide Steve Huber tells you when and how to catch steelhead this month near the border of Oregon and California.  If you prefer white meat on your fish Mack's Lure Pro-Guide Austin Moser has a suggestion on where to go fishing right now for walleye in Washington State.
Our guests had other outdoors fun to share as well. Niki Carlbom, part owner of Sun Canyon Lodge west of Great Falls, Montana, tells you about the great accommodations she has for you and the multi-day horseback rides she will take you on into the Bob Marshall Wilderness.  All that riding might make you hungry and that's where well known Dutch oven cook and Camp Chef Pro-Staffer Cee Dub Welch comes in.  It turns out he's developed a new online course to help you improve your camp cooking skills!
In addition to this we've got two big events to tell you about.  Cindy Carpenter, the Founder of Youth Outdoors Unlimited, previews their annual fundraising banquet taking place at the end of February and Land Tawney, the Executive Director of  Backcountry Hunter and Anglers, wants to invite you to their National Rendezvous that will be going off March 6th through the 8th in Spokane!
Northwestern Outdoors Radio is heard every Sunday morning from 5:00am to 6:00am (Mountain) on K96. Tune in on-air at 96.7fm, or listen online here on k96fm.com!
