Taking One for the Team

Kansas City sports reporter/blogger Lee Judge recently criticised the Royals' Wilson Betemit for dodging an inside pitch with the bases loaded.  Taking one for the team would have pushed the lead run across the plate. It makes sense...unless you're the one

 staring down the barrel of an 81mph slider.  Challenged by the team's pitching coach to see how it feels, Judge did just that. He stepped into the batting cage, turned to the camera and apologized to Betemit and took his lumps...literally. See the Kansas City Star video here.
