Strings & Things Concert to Benefit the Shelby Schools Fine Arts Program

"Strings & Things", a community music education program, will present a concert and silent auction on Tuesday evening, May 5th, at the Shelby High School auditorium. The silent auction bidding begins at 6:00pm, and the concert begins at 6:30pm.The theme for the evening is "Movie Musicals".

"Strings & Things" involves 45 Shelby-area young people from pre-school age through high schools students in vocal and instrumental music instruction. The private program is under the direction of Melanie Hoggan and Diane Hould. Proceeds from the concert and silent auction will benefit the Fine Arts programs in Shelby public schools.
