Pesticide users in this area have an opportunity again this year to dispose of any unwanted, out of date, or unknown pesticides through the Mt. Dept. of Ag 2012 Waste Pesticide Collection Program.  In order to participate, the MDA Participant Pre-Registration form needs to be completed by Friday, August 31.  The first 200 pounds are free.  Forms and information concerning the program are available from local farm chemical dealers, MDA, or your local Extension Office.  Delivery is scheduled for Tuesday, September 18th in Great Falls.

As a service to local residents the Mountain View Coop Fertilizer Plant in Conrad will accept your unwanted herbicides, insecticides, fungicides, and other unknown pesticides with your completed pre-registration form at delivery during normal business hours.  This program is not for any fertilizer, used oil, solvents, paints, etc.  For more information contact MT View Co-op Fertilizer in Conrad at 278-3591 or MSU Pondera County Extension at 271-4054.
