If only presidential campaign videos all looked and sounded this cool. YouTube user Hugh Atkin‘s latest upload has racked up tens of thousands of views in just a matter of days. Why? Because if you take Eminem’s “The Real Slim Shady” and replace the original lyrics with Mitt Romney quotes, and make it rhyme perfectly, you get the internet to “please stand up” and pay attention.

Oh Romney, did you really think when you said you’re not “concerned about the poor” or that “corporations are people,” the sound bytes wouldn’t come back and bite you?

Whether this video convinces you who the “real Mitt Romney“ is depends on where your current political standings lie. But Republican or not, this mash-up is easily one of the best edited videos we have seen. We just can’t imagine how many hours of boring speech footage Atkin had to endure to make this video.
