Mercury records has issued a virtual "cattle call" for male country singers. They're looking to sign someone who sounds like Randy Travis with a touch of Bob Seger.  According to their website mercurytalent.com,  the ideal candidate would be between the ages of 18 and 26, "with range and twang".

No talent competitions involved here, no reality TV. To audition, go to the website and listen to the three songs posted- Randy Travis' "Forever and Ever, Amen" , Frankie Miller's "Darlin'", and Bob Seger's "Rock and Roll Never Forgets". Record yourself singing one, two, or preferably all three songs, and submit them to the label's A&R department. There's no official deadline, they say they'll keep accepting auditions until they find the voice they're looking for.

Good Luck!
