We'll be meeting Uncle Mike tonight (Tuesday) during Montana History up at the Marias Heritage Center here in Shelby. I'll be there at 6 this evening to read & share more of the book, "When Montana and I Were Young: A Frontier Childhood," a remarkable primary account of a child's life in the early part of the 20th century. She's Margaret Bell (1888-1982,) a rancher & horse breaker whose memoir tells the story of a frontier childhood here on the high plans of Montana & Canada. See you tonight for more Montana History at the Heritage. We're only 28 pages into the book & it's a fantastic "Montana" read!
