Favorite Country Duo winners Florida Georgia Line and Favorite Country Female Artist nominee Kelsea Ballerini took the stage at the 2015 American Music Awards to present the award for Favorite Country Male Artist Sunday night (Nov. 22), which went to megastar Luke Bryan, who was up against Sam Hunt and Jason Aldean.

Bryan ran to the stage, excited to receive the fan-voted award — the fourth he has nabbed in the same category. He thanked his wife first, but not before making a jab about the previous performance between Charlie Puth and Meghan Trainor, who shared a rather intimate kiss at the end of their duet.

“Still laughin’ at ole Charlie and Meghan gettin’ it on over there, doin’ a little smoochin,” he joked.

He went on to recognize his booking agent Jay Williams, the people who make his road show happen, his label, country radio, and of course, the fans.

Bryan is slated to perform his single featuring Little Big Town’s Karen Fairchild later in the evening. He recently nabbed the CMA award for Entertainer of the Year and performed his song “Strip It Down” during the event Nov. 4. The song earned his 14th career No. 1. He’s currently preparing for his Kill the Lights Tour, which begins in 2016.
