IT’S ENOUGH TO WAKE THE DEAD

"Waking the Dead" tours of historic graves at Highland Cemetery in Great Falls are scheduled for Friday night, July 1st. Longtime Montana media celebrity and broadcaster Norma Ashby will be joining me this afternoon (Friday) at 4:35 to tell us about this 181st birthday of Paris Gibson, the founder of Great Falls. Norma, of course, is with The History Museum, and it doesn't surprise me that she's gotten involved with this cemetery tour as I seen her doing television commercials for some funeral home in Great Falls. I hope this isn't an indication of what radio-television media types do when they become too old to hold down a regular gig. I suspect it is because I've heard a longtime Minneapolis radio guy doing funeral commercials also. It must be some kind of natural progression. What can I say!
