GNP Quarter Released Today

The seventh coin in the U.S.Mint's American the Beautiful Quarters program is being released this afternoon in a ceremony at Columbia Falls High School. Glacier National Park Superintendent Chas Cartwright will emcee the event, which is open to the public.

Glacier National Park's quarter features a mountain goat surveying the high country, with Reynolds Peak in the background.

Following the short ceremony, all children (under 18) in attendance will receive a free quarter, and adults will be able to purchase $10 rolls of the Glacier Park Quarters.
