Fireman Arranges Fake Fire Drill at School to Propose to Teacher Girlfriend [VIDEO]

If you’re thinking about proposing to your girlfriend, you might want to take some pointers from this guy.

Justin Deierling, a volunteer firefighter in Ohio, recently surprised his girlfriend, Megan, with the proposal of a lifetime. Deierling arranged a fake fire drill at Greentown Elementary School in order to get “Miss Z” outside so he could pop the question in front of the entire school, complete with huge banner on the side of his firetruck.

Justin showed just how much he intricately planned every detail of the proposal. “I knew how much she loves her job and the kids at Greentown, and wanted to include them as well as the place we met,” he explained. “I thought, what better [way] to do this than a fire drill?”

Not only did he give his future wife the best proposal story ever, he even brought his firefighter buddies along to hand out Ring Pops to the kids afterward.

Now, if you’ll excuse us, we have a little something in our eyes … we’re definitely not crying or anything.
