I'm going up to the Marias Heritage Center tonight (Tuesday) to read more "Montana History" to some of the Heritage Center residents. We only have a little more than 50 pages to go in Lenore McKelvey Puhek's tome, "No Time for Tears" & I can tell you that it's been one fine read! Lenore's gone & done it again with this historical novel based upon stories about real people who came to live & work in Montana Territory. I've said it before..."Lenore is a fabulous writer" & I'm sure that I speak for the Heritage Center residents when I say that we all feel like we KNOW all these characters in "No Time for Tears" like our next door neighbors & friends. Lenore not only brings these people to life, but leaves the reader feeling like they know all of them on a 1st person basis. PLUS...we genuinely LIKE all these good folks."No Time for Tears" is available from Lenore McKelvey Puhek at P.O. Box 6002; Helena, Mt. 59601, lpuhek@gmail.com (406 443 2552). See you tonight at 6 o'clock SHARP for more "Montana History" at the Heritage. Next up is Dale Sheldon's book, "Who Lost"...the "story-behind-the-story" on the most famous guy in Conrad, Dale "Let It Ride" Sheldon! Montana History...it's a trip!
