Is there a musical genre Scotty McCreery can't handle? If so, we haven't heard it yet.

The American Idol contestant with the Josh Turner-esque baritone voice continues to bowl the judges over and win the votes of country music fans.
Sure, he could sing country, and Elvis songs weren't a big stretch. But Motown? Yes, sir. Yes, ma'am.  This week he took Stevie Wonder's classic "For Once in My Life" and gave it a Glen Campbell-inspired twist. Who knew that was a country song? It is now, and I sure hope Scotty includes it on his first album, and if he wants to make it his first single, here's one radio deejay who'll spin it....over and over and over.

I'm really rooting for Scotty McCreery to win it all. It doesn't matter whether he does or not, however. I'm sure every record company executive in Nashville has a contract ready and waiting for him.
