Blake Shelton‘s ‘Red River Blue’ album has spent a healthy 73 weeks at the upper-reaches of the Billboard Country Albums chart, but that doesn’t mean the gold-selling record is finished garnering Grammy nominations for the reigning CMA Entertainer of the Year.

During Wednesday night’s 2012 Grammy Nominations Concert, the Oklahoma native found himself on the shortlist of country music superstars nominated for Best Country Solo Performance. His chart-topping track ‘Over’ joins 2013 Grammy nominated-songs from Carrie Underwood, Hunter Hayes, Eric Church, Dierks Bentley and Ronnie Dunn.

Like any humble country superstar would do, Shelton offered fans an official statement to thank them for their loyalty and support in regards to his fourth Grammy nomination as a solo artist.

“I’m completely shocked and honored to be nominated for a Grammy for ‘Over,’” Shelton gushed. “It’s one of the most challenging vocals of my career! Thank you so much.”

The usually outspoken Twitter user remained rather mum on the social media platform concerning his own nomination, but the devoted husband was quick to respond to the nomination earned by his wife and fellow country superstar, Miranda Lambert.

“Congrats to the absolutely drop dead beautiful and ridiculously talented @Miranda_Lambert for her Grammy nomination!!” tweeted Shelton, sharing the news of Lambert’s inclusion in the Best Country Album category for ‘Four the Record.’

Pals Kelly Clarkson and ‘The Voice’ co-star Adam Levine (of Maroon 5) also received viral shoutouts from Shelton for their 2013 Grammy nominations.

‘Over’ served as the fourth single from ‘Red River Blue’ and earned Shelton his seventh-consecutive No. 1 single. The singer is currently in the studio working on the follow-up to his 2011 studio album.
