Tuesday is one of my favorite days because I always look forward to reading Montana history at the Marias Heritage Center in Shelby. I don't have to tell most of you that our Marias Heritage Center is a beautiful assisted living facility and I think all of us in North Central Montana can be proud to have a facility of this caliber in our community. I read to a group in the sun room at the center and with spring finally here, it is more than pleasurable to look out all the windows and see the signs of spring as I read and early evening approaches. I realize that I have blogged before that I would finally finish the book on the Yaak. I am going to blog that again but I can blog it with a huge degree of certainty because I only have four more pages to read. Then we're going to burn the book! Seriously, we will finally leave the Yaak tonight after a mere four pages and it will be on to our next book, a book detailing the Mann Gulch fire near Helena in 1949. I'm sure there are more than a couple of us that wish this book would have been in that fire. See you tonight at six at the Marias Heritage Center in Shelby. The book burning will be at 6:04.
