Will Cut Bank be the home of the next Miss Montana?  Alexis Wineman has qualified as a finalist and will take part in the three night Miss Montana Scholarship program June 14th through the 16th.   Glendive is the home of the Miss Montana Scholarship Program and will host talented young ladies from across the state as well as s Outstanding Teen contestants for a week of rehearsals, appearances and a bit of fun.

Alexis is the daughter of Kimberley Butterworth and Michael Wineman.  She is currently a senior at Cut Bank High School and will be attending the University of Montana this fall.  She will be studying Art and plans to get a Masters Degree in Art History.   Alexis wants to someday own her own art gallery.  Alexis' platform is:  "Normal is just a dryer setting" - Living with Autism.  She will be performing a comedic monologue for her talent.

The Miss Montana Scholarship Program is in its eighth year in Glendive. The theme for the program this year is "We Can".  "Believe in your dreams and you can achieve anything" will be the overriding theme for the whole week.

The Miss Montana's Outstanding Teen Program will run in conjunction with the Miss Montana Program.  Thursday night June 14th will feature the preliminary competition for both programs.  The Outstanding Teen will be crowned on Friday night June 15th and Miss Montana will be crowned on Saturday night June 16th.  Tickets are available at the Glendive Chamber of Commerce or on the website at www.missmontana.com.
