Effective this month (October), The Center 4 Mental Health Advisory Board meetings will be moving back to the old tried, true, and trusted time of 12 noon on the third Tuesday of every month.  This comes as more than good news for some of us who had trouble making the 8AM meetings. Plus, this way, we get to enjoy LUNCH and I was getting awfully danged tired of chowing down on raisin bran and coffee at the Girdle...I mean Griddle. This month, October, is a little different as we'll be meeting THIS Wednesday for an Open House at the NEW location of the Center 4 Mental Health at 925 Oilfield Avenue here in Shelby, It's a great location, I've had a chance to stop in recently. It's in the old Buzy Bees Daycare in the same building as the singing optometrist, Rock (I'm going to the sun on a highway) Svennungsen and what's really neat is that you, the public, are invited to stop in during the noon hour THIS Wednesday for the Open House. Hopefully Lloyal will make some of her famous chili  and Toole County Commissioner Dave Miller will be on hand with some great stories about the Pittsburgh Steelers...speaking of which...how about them Stillers yesterday afternoon! And then with Penn State on Saturday, my weekend was more than perfect. My middle name may be "Sports" but I also wear the hat of the President of the Center 4 Mental Health Advisory Board and I hope to see all of you at the Open House at our new location on Oilfield Avenue on Wednesday. And, NO MORE raisin bran at the Griddle!
