100 years to celebrate in Sunburst

Sunburst Centennial Celebration and the Gala Days Events begin on Friday. Town wide rummage sales both Friday & Saturday. Enjoy the Shelby Chamber of Commerce customer appreciation picnic on Friday Evening at 5pm in Spark Park. Then stick around for the outdoor movie Secretariat. Saturday begins with a bike or walk-a-thon followed by the egg hunt and then the parade at 11. After the parade enjoy the farmers market and country fair with kids games galore. Adult races are at 2pm and the Lion's Club picnic at 4:30-7 and the street dance with DJ Tim Tharp.
