Bird watchers around the world have a rare opportunity to study the development of a new family of Long-Eared Owls, thanks to a new "owl cam" set up by the Owl Research Institute in Charlo. Researcher Denver Holt tells the Associated Press he has banded over 1700 of the birds and found over 225 nests in Montana, but this will be his first chance to study the nocturnal birds' child-rearing habits. The webcam, which will be streaming live video 24/7, is trained on a nest that Holt believes contains four or five eggs. Click HERE to link to the Institute's webcam.
