We’re Going 2 Stump Town Tonight

We'll be doing some "armchair traveling" this evening (Tuesday) up at the Marias Heritage Center here in Shelby...it's Montana History at the Heritage. Just last week, we started a NEW (to us) book, "Stump Town to Ski Town; The Story of Whitefish, Montana." This wonderful presentation penned by Betty Schafer & Mable Engelter is lovingly & gratefully dedicated to ALL Whitefish pioneers. The National Wildlife Federation says, "It is one of the great ironies of American history that the beautiful, empty & unpolluted landscape of our early frontier was DANGEROUS beyond anything people who entered it had ever experienced, or even imagined." "I" say, "I'll see you at 6 o'clock tonight for more Montana History at the Heritage!"
