This weekend we head to the Lewis and Clark Valley along the border of SE Washington and Western Idaho for all sorts of outdoors fun!  We'll go fishing on the Snake River with guide Nate Luther who helps us battle several sturgeon ranging from seven to nine feet in size and weighing 500 plus pounds!   More fishing is available at Idaho's Winchester Lake State Park where Park Manager Steve Kuskie will tell you about the wide variety of fish species you can catch here.  When you are done with that, hike the local trails, explore the forests, check out the wildlife, or go paddle a canoe on the lake before heading to your campsite for the evening.  Just a country mile down the road from the state park is the Wolf Education Research Center.  Jeremy Heft works with the wolves at this center, which is open to the public, and will share some fascinating information about these amazing animals.   We'll wrap things up with a suggestion on where to stay in Clarkston, Washington and let you know about the great riverfront trail system you'll find here too!
