Storm Drainage FINAL Phase

The FINAL phase of our storm drainage system here in Shelby is underway...this coming Monday, the 30th, the contractor plans to CLOSE the Galena Street rail crossing in order to install the FINAL lateral. This means the roadway between Central Avenue & Main Street will be CLOSED, & ALL traffic will be diverted on to Main Street. Pertaining to our local businesses whose staff park behind their businesses on Front Street, don't worry about a thing...you WILL be able to access Front Street, but NO through-traffic will be allowed. As for a "time frame," the crossing is "anticipated" to be closed for 1 week. Hang in & stay safe...
