Some GOOD Tips On Winter Driving

There are some excellent winter driving "tips" in the City of Shelby's recent (January) newsletter. Even if you've been driving in Montana winters for years, it's always a good idea to grab the newsletter & refresh your mind. Simple things like checking your vehicle, organizing emergency supplies, looking AT & listening to our road reports/conditions & brushing up on your winter driving techniques like braking, steering & accelerating. If you ARE traveling during the winter, driving may NOT always be your best option. You may know what to do, but you may end up on a road during a blizzard with drivers who have no idea how to drive in snow. PLEASE adhere to the recommendations of our local authorities during ice & snow events.
