MDU Resources Group out of North Dakota, has announced it's donating $500,000 (half a MILLION) to a variety of organizations to support coronavirus relief efforts, including $70,000 to charities right here in Montana. Although it's way too long to publish all the charities here, the MONTANA charities go from A to W...Action for Eastern Montana in Glendive to Wolf Point Food Pantry. Flathead Food Bank, Helena Food Share, United Way of Northeast Montana in Kalispell are all included along with the Gallatin Valley Food Bank in Bozeman & Malta Opportunities, Inc. In addition to this $500,000 donation, the MDU Resources Foundation is accelerating 2020 grant payments that were previously identified for organizations such as food banks, shelters & elderly support. MDU Resources President & CEO David L. Goodin said the health & safety of MDU Resources' employees, customers & the public is always the company's top priority, & the donations are intended to help our Montana communities regain their good health.
