Silently Seizing

"Silently Seizing: Common, Unrecognized and Frequently Missed Seizures and Their Potentially Damaging Impact on Individuals With Autism Spectrum Disorders" is the book that I'll be giving away later this afternoon (Tuesday) on my Puffman Musical Trivia. With a title this long, I'm not sure if there are enough letters left on my Puffman Blog computer to type anything else! Seriously, it's a groundbreaking book that will change lives. Caren Haines is the author & Caren is the mother of a 24 year old son diagnosed with autism as a young child. As a registered nurse, Caren relied upon her nurse's training to assist her in deciphering the origins of many of her son's perplexing behaviors. Based on knowledge gained from years of intensive research she compiled for this book as well as information provided by top researchers in the field of autism. Caren is helping families become free from the debilitating symptoms of silent seizures & psychosis. There's not much the Puffman DOESN'T know about music but there's a ton of stuff I don't know about autism, short of what I hear on the national media. I am somewhat familiar with the argument by many, that childhood vaccinations ate one of the major causes of autism while the medical community, by & in large, does NOT agree.
