Rainy And Cold? Time For Softball In Conrad!

The Conrad Invitational softball tournament is this weekend, and sure enough, the forecast says rain and snow possible with highs in the 40s. Nobody's surprised.  This is such a good tournament, well run at a great facility, and I can only remember one or two years when they had two days of pretty good weather.

This year's tournament is a lot smaller -- only five schools are coming this year, which may have something to do with the lack of good weather we seem to have year to year. The good news is that it opens up more opportunities for JV teams. Glasgow and the Stillwater team from Columbus, Absarokee and Park City will join Conrad, Shelby and Cut Bank this weekend. Here's the schedule:

Friday

Noon -- Shelby JV vs. Conrad JV

2:00 -- Glasgow vs. Conrad, Stillwater vs. Cut Bank

4:00 -- Stillwater vs. Shelby, Glasgow vs. Cut Bank

6:00 -- Stillwater JV vs. Conrad JV, Glasgow JV vs. Shelby JV

Saturday

9:00 -- Stillwater vs. Conrad, Glasgow vs. Shelby

11:00 -- Glasgow JV vs. Conrad JV, Stillwater JV vs. Shelby JV

1:00 -- Shelby vs. Conrad, Glasgow vs. Stillwater

3:00 -- Cut Bank vs. Shelby

5:00 -- Cut Bank vs. Conrad
