Let Us Remember

We ask you to pause & reflect this Memorial Day weekend as we remember our American men AND women who have been called upon to defend freedom around the world. Hundreds of thousands have paid the ultimate price, & our American Legion Memorial Day programs get underway this weekend. There'll be a program this Saturday morning at 10 up at the Gold Butte Cemetery to be followed at the Whitlash Cemetery. Sunday, the American Legion Hall in Sweetgrass will open at 9, with the program at 10. Then, it's on to the Sweetgrass Cemetery & Sunburst Town Hall. Sunday's lunch will be in Sunburst at noon at the VFW Club. Memorial Day isn't supposed to be just races, picnics & the start of summer. We are free today...we will remain free tomorrow...
