Lainey Wilson Is So Proud of Boyfriend Duck’s New Career [Interview]

Lainey Wilson is sitting on top of country music right now, and her boyfriend is doing well for himself, too.

Devlin "Duck" Hodges is a former NFL quarterback who played for the Pittsburgh Steelers, but Wilson says he's changed careers.

She spilled the tea in a new interview with Evan Paul on Taste of Country Nights. Asked how the "dynasty of Duck" is doing these days, Wilson was happy to gush, lighting up as if her man had just walked into the room.

"He is good. He is killin' it," the "Hang Tight Honey" singer says. "He is doing real estate and coaching. He is thriving."

"I'm just so proud of him," Wilson admits.

During our interview, she was also eager to nudge him along toward a marriage proposal while on air, saying that she might just have to propose to him, because he is taking his sweet time.

The country star's new album, Whirlwind, even has a song about a wedded future with Duck, "Count Your Chickens."
