Road Closure At Going-To-The-Sun

With heavy rains & snowfall of 5 to 12 inches above 6000 feet, Glacier National Park's put into effect a "temporary" road closure of the alpine sections of Going-To-The-Sun. The closure extends from Avalanche to Jackson Glacier Overlook. The closure's went into effect at 8 o'clock last night (Fri.) Don't worry about a thing, Glacier Park will be evaluating & re-opening the alpine sections of Going-To-The-Sun & re-opening the alpine sections as conditions improve for visitor & staff safety.
