Clem Pellett's critically acclaimed Montana true crime book, Pellett, is making a real impact for students here on the Hi-Line. Pellett, himself, will be at Northern THIS Friday morning at 10, to present the FIRST EVER scholarship from the Clarence C. Pellett Memorial Scholarship Fund during MSU-Northern's Annual Scholarship Awards Ceremony. Friday morning's presentation will take place in the Student Union Building on the MSU-Northern campus in Havre. This Pellett scholarship supports students from Montana's Hi-Line region who are pursuing careers in the skilled grades. To date, proceeds from the book have contributed $25,000 toward the fund. My old friend, Clem, will be joining me this afternoon (Tues) at 2:30, on the Puff Man Show to discuss this Friday morning's presentation at Northern. Don't worry, if you're one of the few who has NOT read, "Pellett," Clem, has a boatload of them in his car trunk! Just kidding, just kidding. Copies of Murder on Montana's Hi-Line, are available now through the Montana Historical Society, & the Museum of the Rockies bookstores, as well as online retailers including Amazon, Barnes & Noble, & Arcadia Publishing (in addition to Clem's trunk!) Seriously, Clem says, "If this scholarship helps even a few Hi-Line students pursue careers in the trades & build a future here in Montana, then it's doing exactly what it was meant to do." Friday morning, 10 o'clock, Scholarship presentation at the Student Union Building on Northern's campus, & Pellett-the Man, in our studio at 2:30, on the Puff Man Show, on KSEN AM 1150.
