What Do Women & Men In Montana Each Want For Valentine’s Day This Year?
Valentine's Day is right around the corner and if I'm being honest, I'm not all that excited.
But honestly, who is anymore?
Is Valentine's Day Still Popular?
Of course it is, even if we're not big fans of it. Shoot, my wife and I aren't fans of the holiday but we still make sure to get each other a little something or enjoy a nice meal. For us, our gifts usually come in the form of an awesome meal, flowers for her and some quality time together.
That's it - there's no need to spend a lot on the holiday just because... it's a holiday.
If you feel differently, that's fantastic and you're not alone. According to Capital One Shopping Research, Valentine's Day is the fifth-biggest spending holiday in the US with an estimated (ready for this?) $6.5 billion spent on Valentine's jewelry in 2025 and $27.5 billion spent on the holiday in total in 2025.

That's absolutely insane but it doesn't look so bad to some when you look at average spending. Consumers budget an average of $188.81 for Valentine's Day according to Capital One Shopping Research.
Now, it's easy to talk about dollars but what are people spending that money on? Actually, the better question would be: what is it that people really want?
What do Men & Women Want For Valentine's Day... REALLY?
