Popular Cookies Sold In Montana Stores Under Important Recall

You've probably, at some point in life, have experienced a cookie so perfect that you can remember every soft, sweet bite at this very moment.

On the other hand, some of us can probably remember biting into a cookie that wasn't all that great... and that's exactly what happened with one of America's most popular cookies that's sold right here in Montana.

CHIPS AHOY! Recall

In a recall notice released on Wednesday (2/4), it was announced that various packages of CHIPS AHOY! Baked Bites Brookies were shipped with some serious hazards.

"This voluntary recall is being conducted because of an incorrect mixing process that resulted in the formation of small corn starch clumps in the product," the recall notice says on the site for the FDA.

"Due to the characteristics and size of the small starch clumps, the clump could constitute a choking hazard, particularly in special risk groups, such as young children and the elderly."

The affected products include:

Thankfully, it doesn't appear there are any illnesses or injuries reported but still, it's better to be safe than sorry and throw these products out.
