Target: The Cheapest Grocery Option In Montana
That’s too bad because if you’re not counting Target, you might be missing out on some big savings.
A while back, we shared that Target actually came out as the cheapest grocery option in Montana, at least among stores using Instacart. They’ve got some solid deals if you keep an eye out.
Though some of those products won’t be around for much longer
Upcoming Changes: Certain Food Dyes Being Phased Out
Earlier this year, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration asked manufacturers to stop using certain synthetic dyes in foods. Target has said that by the end May, any cereal made with these dyes won't be sold in their stores.
The dyes being phased out include Green No. 3, Red No. 40, Yellow No. 5, Yellow No. 6, Blue No. 1, and Blue No. 2 by the end of 2026, and Red No. 3 by 2027.
Target is moving quickly, making them one of the first stores actively looking out for consumers.
That said, don’t worry too much. It's more than likely Target will have substitutes or updated formulas that remove the dyes, so you’ll still be able to grab your favorites soon enough.
These cereals however, are gone for good. 👇
