Court documents say the drugs were packaged in individually wrapped one-pound bundles. It wasn't just drugs that were taken during the search. Authorities also reported finding several firearms and more than $31,000 in cash.
This was a major coordinated effort across the state. A task force made up of federal and local agencies took part, including the FBI, DEA, Homeland Security Investigations, Border Patrol, and local police. Search warrants were carried out in both Billings and Laurel.
Officials say this is part of a larger push to disrupt drug trafficking operations impacting Montana communities, tied to the current administration’s Operation Take Back America initiative.
