Montana has plenty of places to get outdoors and enjoy the fresh mountain air.

For residents who enjoy spending time outdoors with their dogs, some of those places can be less inviting or even unsafe for their four-legged friends.

This Survey Reveals The 3 Best Places To Bring Your Dog

Long-time readers of my articles may remember that I recently got a new puppy, and that means I've been looking for places that I can bring him when we travel to the Treasure State.

It didn't take me very long to come across the website Technobark.com.

They asked 3,000 dog lovers where the best places to bring their dogs in America were, and Montana landed three spots on the list.

Spring Meadow Lake State Park Dog Park

Ranked #21, the first Montana park on the list is Spring Meadow Lake State Park, located just outside of Helena.

While this might be the highest park on the list, one thing to realize is that dogs are not allowed in the park from April 15th through October 15th.

That may seem odd to see this park ranked so high without letting dogs there in the warmer months, but dogs need exercise year-round, and this is a great place to burn off some zoomies during the "off-season."

Lone Pine State Park Dog Park

The next park on the list and ranked #86 is Lone Pine State Park near Kalispell.

With almost 8 miles of trails great for hiking, biking, and running with Fido, which is sure to burn off someenergy,y.

During the winter, you can enjoy snowshoeing to get some much-needed exercise during the cold months.

Bozeman Pond Dog Park

Bozeman Pond in Bozeman comes in ranked at the #109 spot, but I think it could and should be higher up, as it's a park tailor made for dogs.

While there is plenty for humans to enjoy, your dog will love the doggy swimming beach and the new Lewis and Bark Park dog park.

Both of them are enclosed by a fence, so you can let them off leash and know they're safe.

While these 3 parks might have gotten on the list, there are great dog parks all over Montana that your dog would love to spend time at, especially with you.
