Did you know gunshot victims are 5 times more likely to need blood transfusions, they require 10 times more blood units & are 14 more likely to DIE than folks seriously injured by motor vehicle, non-gun assaults, falls or stabbings! If that's not enough to encourage you to donate blood, I don't know what is...we have a Community Blood Drive underway this afternoon (Monday)down  in Valier. Donation hours are from noon until 6, & donors of ALL blood types are needed.
