I’m Going In To The Heritage Center

I'll be up at the Marias Heritage Center tonight (Tuesday) to read & share more Montana History. We're about to wrap up the story of America's circus dynasty right here in Montana. We're enjoying author & historian Lee Rostad's riveting read, "Three Ringlings In Montana; Circus Trains to Cattle Ranches." The railroad no longer runs through the town of Ringling, Montana; the bank is gone; the hardware store & livery are also gone. A closed church & school remain to service the few resident families & surrounding ranchers. There are only the memories of when the bustling town welcomed homesteaders & other settlers. There is nothing left of the railroad that John Ringling built except the ruins of the depot. We'll hear & learn more tonight at 6 o'clock SHARP at the Marias Heritage Center here in Shelby.
