I Missed It!

This past Monday, the 23rd,was National Pie Day & somehow, some way, I MISSED IT! I'm more than chagrined this morning not to mention completely crestfallen. It's true...National Pie Day, created by the American Pie Council, WAS the day before yesterday, Monday, January 23rd. National Pie Day is ALWAYS celebrated January 23rd, & it's a very special day that's set aside to bake & cook all of our favorite pies. Not only that but we're encouraged to bake a few new pie recipes. Most importantly, it's a day to eat pies! The good folks at the American Pie Council even sponsor National Pie Championships. Some of the best pie makes in the world enter their pies & there's the possibility of WINNING the American Pie Council's Best Pie in America award. What can I say? I missed it this year but I'm going to mark my Puffman Calendar for NEXT January for sure. Again, I apologize for your inconvenience.
