Going-To-The-Sun’s OPEN Now!

Our scenic Going-to-the-Sun Road is officially open for Summer '22! Today's (Wednesday) grand  opening of the full length of the Alpine Highway & today's opening matches its' latest opening dates since it first opened to the public on July 15, 1933.The road also opened on July 13, back in 2011, because of late snowpack, & in 2020, due to the COVID pandemic. Please keep in mind that "timed" vehicle reservations are needed to cruise the road, & enjoy our Montana summer...
