“From Dillon to Libby to Glendive, hundreds of Montanans are earning high-wage salaries by working from home, with their families by telecommuting every day,” said Gianforte. “Telecommuting represents a tremendous opportunity to bring our families back to Montana, and it allows them to bring their jobs with them.”

In conjunction with the Montana Chamber of Commerce and Montana State University, Gianforte, who has been promoting high tech and manufacturing jobs in Montana for the past two-years, mailed the below “Telecommuter’s Invite” to 15,000 MSU graduates who no longer live in the state.

"The Montana Chamber is happy to be a part of this project,” said Webb Brown, President/CEO of the Montana Chamber. "We're taking Montana to the world. From our own staff, Board and member businesses all over the Treasure State, the Montana Chamber has been telecommuting successfully for years. Besides, who wouldn't want to live in Montana and conduct business globally? Come home, Montanans!"

Gianforte will continue his two-week tour, which began in Missoula, to Polson, Lakeside and Somers, Kalispell, Columbia Falls- Whitefish- Bigfork (combined event), Thompson Falls, Superior, Hamilton, Deer Lodge, Helena, Butte, Dillon, Three Forks, Boulder, Townsend, White Sulphur Springs, Harlowton, Lewistown, Conrad, Shelby, Havre, Glasgow, Wolf Point, Sidney, Glendive, Miles City, Billings, Livingston, Laurel and Red Lodge. If your community is on the tour, please contact us for time and date details.

“There’s a misconception that all high wage jobs are out of state jobs,” concludes Gianforte. “The reality is that the internet has removed geography as a constraint. Our graduates can live virtually anywhere in Montana and work for Fortune 500 companies with global client-bases. We just need to make sure this opportunity is front and center so we stop exporting our most precious resources, our kids and grandkids.”
