Galata CANCELS Chorination!

The Galata Water District has CANCELLED their plans for the scheduled "chlorination process" this week. Water chlorination adds chlorine or chlorine compounds such as sodium hypochlorite to our water. This process is used to kill certain bacteria & other microbes in your tap water as chlorine is highly TOXIC! Our Golden Triangle weather "should" break in a few days, & the Galata Water District will to commence their chlorination process NEXT Monday. Please be patient & stay warm...
